In the year 1750, England is rife with crime and highway robbers. To stop the wave of chaos, King George sets up the first professional police force named the Bow Street Runners, under the command of the bellowing Sir Roger Daley (Bernard Bresslaw) and seconded by Captain Desmond Fancey (Kenneth Williams) and Sergeant Jock Strapp (Jack Douglas). The Runners are apparently successful in wiping out crime and lawlessness - using all manner of traps and tricks to round the criminals up. However, their main target is the notorious Richard "Big Dick" Turpin (Sid James), a highwayman who has evaded capture and succeeded in even robbing Sir Roger and his prim wife (Margaret Nolan) of their money and clothing.
After this humiliation, Turpin becomes the Bow Street Runners' most wanted man, and thus Captain Fancey is assigned to go undercover and catch the famous Dick Turpin and bring him to justice.The Bow Street Runners nearly succeed in apprehending Turpin and his two partners in crime, Harriet (Barbara Windsor) and Tom (Peter Butterworth), one evening as they hold up a coach carrying faux-French show woman Madame Desiree (Joan Sims), and her unladylike daughters, "The Birds of Paradise." However, Turpin manages to overpower the Runners and flee.Outraged by Strapp's incompetence, Captain Fancey travels with the sergeant to the village of Upper Denture near to where most Turpin's hold-ups are carried out. There they encounter the mild-mannered Reverend Flasher, who is really Turpin in disguise, with Tom as his church assistant and Harriet as his maidservant. They confide in the rector their true identities and their scheme to apprehend Turpin. They agree to meet at the seedy Old Cock Inn, a notorious hang-out for criminals and sleazy types, and where Desiree and her showgirls are performing. Fancey and Strapp pose as two on the run crooks - and Strapp dubs his superior "Dandy Desmond" - and they hear from the greasy old hag, Maggie (Marianne Stone), a midwife who removed buckshot from Turpin's buttock, that Turpin has a curious birthmark on his manhood. Strapp wastes no time in carrying out an inspection in the public convenience of the Old Cock Inn.When the rector arrives, he discovers their knowledge of the birthmark, and sweet talks Desiree into assisting him with the capture of "Turpin", whom the rector has told Desiree is actually Fancey, who is sitting downstairs in the bar. She lures him to her room and attempts to undress him, with the help of her wild daughters. The girls pull down his breeches but fail to find an incriminating birthmark, and Desmond staggers half-undressed into the bar. Strapp is also dumped into a horse trough for peeping at the men in the toilets.Strapp and Fancey send a message to Sir Roger about the birthmark and are accosted by Harriet in disguise who tells them to meet Turpin that night at ten o'clock. Meanwhile, Tom tells the local constable that he knows where Turpin will be that night - at the location Harriet told Strapp and Fancey to wait. The local constable arrests Strapp and Fancey, believing one of them to be Dick. The constable sends a message to Sir Roger about their capture. However, Sir Roger is again robbed of all his clothes by Dick on his way to seeing the prisoners.
All this while the local town has no idea that the Reverend Flasher himself is the notorious robber, Dick.However, things fall apart when the rector's housekeeper, Martha Hoggett (Hattie Jacques) begins to put two and two together when Mrs Giles (Patsy Rowlands), apparently sick and used for a cover-up story for Dick's raids, is seen fit and well at the church jumble sale.
Later that day, Harriet is caught at the Old Cock Inn where Fancey, Strapp and Daley are meeting and Fancey recognizes her as the "man" who conned them into being caught. She is chased into Desiree's room and is told to undress to show the infamous birthmark. However, they soon realize she is a woman and are prepared to let her go but lock her up after Lady Daley recognizes a bracelet that Harriet is wearing as one Turpin stole from her.
With the net tightening, the Reverend Flasher gives an elongated sermon before outwitting his would-be captors and making a speedy getaway, with Harriett and Tom, across the border.

It is the time of the French Revolution, and two bored English noblemen, Sir Rodney Ffing (pronounced "Effing") (Sid James) and his best friend Lord Darcy Pue (Jim Dale), decide to have some fun and save their French counterparts from beheading by the guillotine.Enraged revolutionary leader Citizen Camembert (Kenneth Williams) and his toadying lackey, Citizen Bidet (Peter Butterworth), scour France and England for the elusive savior of the French nobles, who has become known as The Black Fingernail, after his calling card of "two digits rampant".
Duke De Pommefrite (Charles Hawtrey) is the next target who is due for beheading shortly.Ffing and Darcy get Camembert's guillotine to malfunction & then as a bet get him to behead his own executioner & escape with Pommefrite. Pommefrite is an influential leader of the French nobility and hence an important figure for the revolutionists to get rid of. The revolutionists believe that the Black Fingernail had a role in helping Pommefrite escape.Ffing and Darcy use various disguises to fool Camembert and use him to get out of Paris, which is heavily blockaded, & get into Calais, from where they get into a boat to escape France and into England with Pommefrite. During his escape from France, Ffing meets his true love, Jacqueline (Dany Robin), leaving her with a silver locket containing a set of his mother's false teeth.Camembert is chastised by his superior Maximillien Robespierre (Peter Gilmore) and threatened with the guillotine, unless he captures the Fingernail. Camembert is ordered to go to England and get Pommefrite back.
Ffing, who is the real Black Fingernail, had become a hero to many Frenchmen for his exploits & Jacqueline had fallen in love with him. Camembert and Bidet knew of Jacqueline's love for the Black Fingernail.
Bidet and Camembert apprehend Jacqueline (Dany Robin) and imprison her.Camembert decides to use Jacqueline as leverage to lure The Black Fingernail back. Using the locket (which they knew was given to Jacqueline by the Black Fingernail) as a trap, they travel to England to uncover the real identity of The Black Fingernail. They are accompanied by Camembert's lover, Desiree (Joan Sims), who is on the lookout to marry a man with a title, disguised as the Comte and Comtesse De La Plume De Ma Tante. Desirée pretends to be Camembert's flamboyant sister, whilst wearing the locket.Camembert, Bidet and Desiree attend an aristocrats balls thrown by Ffing to inquire about the Black fingernail. At the ball Camembert uses Desiree to wear the locket given by the Black Fingernail to Jacqueline. Ffing notices the locket, believes Desiree to be Jacqueline & proceeds to meet her secretly & kiss her. However, Desiree reveals that she is not Jacqueline & that she is under Camembert's control at Bastille. Bidet overhears the entire conversation & tells Camembert that Ffing is the Black Fingernail.Now Camembert is unaware that Desiree (Joan Sims), Camembert's flamboyant mistress, is herself in love with the hero and will do all she can to save him from the guillotine.
Using Desiree's honor as bait, Camembert challenges Ffing to a duel, which he accepts. Camembert rigs the contest by instructing Bidet to load only 1 pistol. But Ffing plays a trick which makes Camembert end up in a human excreta pit & Ffing escapes with Darcy & Pommefrit to France, where he intends to rescue Jacqueline from Bastille.Camembert arrives with reinforcements & transfers Jacqueline to his private castle, which he presented to himself for his services to the revolution. Ffing gets inside the castle with the help of Desiree who only agrees to assist in return for a marriage title.
Ffing gets to Jacqueline to rescue her & then fights his way out of the castle, with the help of Darcy & Pommefrit, who help fight Camembert's soldiers and, in the process, destroy all the priceless artifacts of the castle.For their incompetence, Robespierre (Peter Gilmore) orders the execution of Camembert and Bidet on a double guillotine. They are relieved to know that the Fingernail is not there to see it, until the executioner reveals that he is The Black Fingernail himself. Afterwards, in England, Ffing marries Jacqueline, who becomes Lady Ffing, whilst he keeps his promise to Desiree, who has married the Duke De Pommfrite (as he has a title), much to her own chagrin.

Sid Carter (Sid James) is the cunning head of a criminal gang that includes the long-haired drip Ernie Bragg (Bernard Bresslaw), the cheeky Freddy (Bill Maynard) and Sid's honest son, Cyril (Kenneth Cope), who does not want to live a life of crime but is emotionally blackmailed by his father into going along with his scheme to rob Finisham Maternity Hospital for its stock of contraceptive pills.Cyril reluctantly disguises himself as a new nurse to case the hospital and the booty, however he is assumed to be one of a batch of new student nurses who have just arrived, and is assigned the same room as the shapely, blonde nurse, Susan Ball (Barbara Windsor). Unfortunately for Cyril, he also catches the eye of the hospital Lothario, Dr. Prodd (Terry Scott.). Dr Prodd is infamous for ogling the student nurses & is under constant watch from the matron who wants to save the nurses from Dr Prodd's unwanted advances.Sir Bernard Cutting (Kenneth Williams), the hypochondriac registrar of the hospital, is convinced he's undergoing a sex change, however when he consults the nutty Dr F.A. Goode (Charles Hawtrey), Goode dishes out psychiatric Mumbo Jumbo, stating that Cutting merely wants to prove his manhood, and Cutting realizes he is in love with Matron (Hattie Jacques).
Matron, on the other hand, has more than enough to contend with on the wards, with the gluttonous Mrs Tidey (Joan Sims) who seems more interested in eating than producing a baby and her long-suffering British Rail worker husband (Kenneth Connor) who continually hangs around the waiting room.
When Cyril goes back to Prodd's room to get a map of the hospital, Prodd attempts to get intimate, only to be knocked across the room. Prodd and Cyril are called out on an emergency when lovely film star Jane Darling (Valerie Leon) begins to have her baby, but as Cyril knocks Prodd out in the ambulance, he is forced to deal with the actress's triplets being born. However, Jane Darling is delighted with Cyril, and hails "the nurse" a heroine for her efforts, bringing fame to the hospital. However, Susan uncovers Cyril's disguise, but as she is in love with him, she does not reveal the truth.Bernard tries to "prove his manhood" by having sex with Matron, but she refuses unless Bernard proposes marriage, which Bernard is unwilling to do. Bernard finds Dr Goode hiding inside the Matron's cupboard. Dr Goode & Matron had a weekly appointment to watch a TV serial together in her room, & Matron had hidden Dr Goode, when she heard Dr Bernard coming to her room. Dr Bernard naturally believed that Matron had refused him as she was having an affair with Goode.
Cyril manages to get hold of the plans to the hospital & passes them on to Sid. Sid figures out that the pills are in the basement of the hospital and that the only way to get into the basement is via the front door.Sid finds Cyril's pictures in the papers (being described as a hero) & decides to visit him in the hospital. Cyril tells Sid that Susan knows all about their plan & Sid decides to execute the plan the same evening. Sid is chased around the hospital by Matron, who thinks Sid has attempted to force himself upon nurse Cyril.The Sister (Jacki Piper) desperately tries to keep the ward in order, while Cutting's secretary, Miss Banks (Patsy Rowlands) keeps her employer in check, but nothing can cool his pent-up desire to prove himself as a man, and it's Matron who's in his sights. The criminal gang don disguises - Sid dresses as the foreign "Dr Zhivago" and Ernie as a heavily expectant mum. They enter the hospital citing an emergency delivery. Sid & Freddy have to enter the Matron's room to retrieve the keys to the basement medical store. But they are found by Dr Bernard, who again thinks that Matron is having an affair & is a sex fiend. The Matron convinces Dr Bernard that the men are suspicious & orders the doors to the hospital locked. Sid & co have stolen the pills, but can't escape.The medical hierarchy's threat to call the police is halted when Sid reveals the heroine of the day is a man, and the hospital realize they would suffer nationwide humiliation if anyone found out. Cyril weds his shapely nurse, Susan and Matron finally gets her doctor.

Bliss consistently avoids marrying Sophie, enthusiastically pursuing Esme Crowfoot (Joan Sims), a seamstress and client who consistently rejects his advances.Percival Snooper (Kenneth Williams) becomes a client to find a wife for business reasons: as a confirmed bachelor, he's inept at his job as a marriage counselor due to lack of personal experience. James Bedsop (Charles Hawtrey) is a private detective Sophie hires to spy on Sid's after-hours activities when he supposedly "vets" the female clients, including Esme.Timid Bertram Muffet (Richard O'Callaghan) winds up with model Sally Martin (Jacki Piper) after the agency muddles his directions to a blind date. Sally is a nude model & believes that Muffet is a photographer from the photo agency. Sally takes him to her house for a nude photo-shoot, which makes Muffet extremely uncomfortable. Sally gets into a bikini before it is clear that Muffet is from the wedding agency & was looking for Esma Crowfoot (Sid had deliberately muddled the appointment as Sophie had forced him into it, and he never wanted Esma to get married to anyone)Client Terry Philpotts (Terry Scott) suffers several failures in his dealings with the agency including a disastrous meeting with prim, sheltered Jenny Grubb (Imogen Hassall). Jenny moves in with Sally, undergoes a makeover, and becomes a model. Terry later finds romance with the "new" Jenny.Muffet calls the agency where Sophie picks the phone. Muffet complains that Esma never showed up for the date. Sophie understands that Sid is deliberately shielding Esma. She gives Esma's home address to Muffet, fully knowing the Sid is likely to there, which he is. What Sid finds to his horror is that Esma's estranged lover, volatile wrestler Gripper Burke (Bernard Bresslaw), returns while he is inside Esma's apartment. He escapes via the fire escape, just when Muffet arrives at Esma's apartment looking for a date with her. Muffet is badly roughed up by Gripper.Sally visits Muffet in the hospital & offers to take the relationship forward with a proper date.
Sophie tells Percival that the most compatible profile with Percival is Sophie herself. Percival's association with Sophie provokes his jealous housekeeper, dowdy Miss Dempsey (Patsy Rowlands), to reveal her seductive side.Sid is angry at Snooper for snaring Sophie from him. So, he tells Esma to call Snooper's house, when Sophie is meeting Snooper & calls Gripper to give him Snooper's address, telling him that he will find Esma there. Esma claims that she is Snooper's lover & is carrying her child. Sophie sees this & believes that Snooper is dishonest & that Esma is not interested in Sid. Gripper reaches Snooper's house & finds Esma there & attacks Snooper, but Dempsey handles him & wrestles him out of the house.The next day Sophie returns to Sid, hoping to reconcile only to find from James Bedsop that Sid had used Esma to break up Sophie from Snooper. Sophie is ready to walk out when Sid proposes marriage. The couple arranges a reception with all the couple that they helped bring together. At the reception, Gripper attacks Sid as he recognizes the suit, he is wearing to the one he found in Esma's bedroom the night he returned. This leads to a huge cake fight in the group.Peter Butterworth appears in a 1-minute cameo as a Bluebeard like character jokingly referred to as Dr. Crippen. He approaches Sid Bliss to find his third wife. His first wife died eating poisoned mushrooms, the second suffered a fractured skull because "she wouldn't eat the mushrooms."

A disgraced Doctor James Nookey (Jim Dale) is sent to a remote clinic on an inhospitable tropical island where he learns of a native slimming potion.
Nookey used to work at a reputed NHS hospital with Head Surgeon Doctor Frederick Carver (Kenneth Williams) as head surgeon and Doctor Ernest Stoppidge (Charles Hawtrey) as his colleague. Matron of the nurses (Hattie Jacques) is disapproving of Nookey's antics. Miss Fosdick (Patsy Rowlands) is Carver's secretary. Nookey is clumsy and awkward and frequently runs the female patients the wrong way inside the hospital premises.
Ellen Moore (Joan Sims) is a rich patient who was operated upon by Carver for appendix removal. Carver wants Moore to make a donation to his medical foundation, but she refuses unless Carver helps her find a resident doctor for one of her tropical island clinics.A hot young model Goldie Locks (Barbara Windsor) is admitted to the hospital. She was wearing her modeling clothes (which were barely covering her private parts) when admitted. Nookey examines her but cannot resist the sexual innuendos. While taking her x ray, Nookey short circuits the equipment (he was trying to impress Goldie by showing off the capabilities of the equipment, which he did not know how to operate) & nearly brings the hospital down. The hospital electrical equipment was knocked out as a result and it took 24 hours to restore them back to normal.At a staff party, Stoppidge mixes surgical alcohol in Nookey's drinks. The drunk Nookey ends up crashing through a window on a hospital trolley, after he had almost got into bed with a patient (He suggests that Goldie can stay in a private room at the hospital, but Stoppidge had already assigned it to a female patient who already had a run in with Nookey. While, Nookey goes to get her Pajamas, Goldie leaves the hospital as she was not comfortable staying the night, and Nookey ends up in the room with the patient, in her bed). Goldie leaves Nookey, as the latter is not interested in marriage.
Carver sends Nookey to the Beatific Islands, where it rains for nine months of the year, as a punishment. Gladstone Screwer (Sid James) is the medical mission orderly at the tropical island where Nookey ends upGladstone is a slimy operator. He has used all the funds sent by Moore to buy booze and lives a lavish life with 5 wives and a bunch of kids. Gladstone wants to be left alone & is angry that Moore has sent yet another doctor to the mission. He plans to get rid of Nookey by making him depressed & addicted to booze. He then writes to Moore and Carver that Nookey is nothing but a drunken bum & not of any help to the local community. Moore threatens Carver to pull her funding if he doesn't fix it. Carver decides to visit the island himself, but his ship has an accident in a hurricane, and he is marooned on a different tropical island for 3 months.Meanwhile, all by accident, Nookey finds that the local witch doctor (actually it was Gladstone who brewed it) brews a concoction of herbs that acts as a slimming agent and makes people lose weight very quickly. Nookey sees the potential to make money, secures a large supply and returns to London to become filthy rich and hires a sexy secretary.Carver comes back to England after 3 months to find that Matron is working for Nookey, Stoppidge has been promoted to Carver's job & Nookey is rich & in partnership with Moore.
Nookey finds success running a lavish slimming clinic. However, his former professional rivals who had been instrumental in sending him away in the first place now want a slice of the profits, as does the real discoverer of the slimming potion.
Goldie comes back to Nookie again.Gladstone quickly discovers that Nookey is making a fortune from his serum, and cuts off his supply to deliver the serum in person and get in on the action. Gladstone arrives demanding 50% share of the profits in exchange for the next supply of potion. When Nookey refuses, he gives Nookey a serum bottle that seems different to Nookey.Carver wants to get into a partnership & when Nookey refuses, he sends in Stoppidge, disguised as a fat woman, to steal the formula. Nookey recognizes Stoppidge. Nookey unleashes the lusty Gladstone on Stoppidge, plus Stoppidge has to undress in the middle of all the women in the clinic and has to share a room with Moore. All of this pinches his sensibilities.In reality Gladstone had given a serum that induces a sex change in women. Nookey finally gives in & makes Gladstone & Carver partners.
The movie ends with Nookey and Goldie getting married at the Moore-Nookey-Gladstone-Carver facility, and the rest of the staff of the Long Hampton Hospital becoming friends again.

This film is based on a recently discovered manuscript by one William Cobbler, which reveals that Henry VIII did in fact have two more wives. Although it was first thought that Cromwell originated the story, it is now known to be all Cobbler's... from beginning to end.Henry VIII (Sid James) has his wife (Patsy Rowlands) beheaded and quickly marries Marie of Normandy (Joan Sims). Thomas Cromwell (Kenneth Williams) is the chancellor of England & is close to the King. This union was organized at the behest of bumbling Cardinal Wolsey (Terry Scott) as Marie is cousin of King Francis I of France. Henry's wedding night ardor dies when he finds she reeks of garlic, but she refuses to stop eating it.
Marie gets frustrated and soon receives amorous advances from Sir Roger De Lodgerley (Charles Hawtrey who, while still in his camp persona, is playing against type as a ladies man). Lodgerley has sexual relations with Marie in Henry's absence
Henry wants to be rid of Marie as soon as possible, but Cromwell advises Henry that England cannot afford a war with France & hence he should act with caution.Henry is keen to be rid of Marie, as he has met the lovely Bettina (Barbara Windsor, in her favorite Carry On role). Bettina is the daughter of the Earl of Bristol (Peter Butterworth, in a one scene cameo), a punning reference to Bristols. Thomas Cromwell (Kenneth Williams) assists in ousting Marie by organizing Lord Hampton of Wick (Kenneth Connor) to kidnap the King in a staged plot. Cromwell and Lord Hampton also secretly plot to bring the King to harm as part of this escapade (they both had been planning to rid England of Henry for several years), but the false kidnapping fails as Queen Marie fights off the kidnappers all by herselfHenry tries to get an annulment of his wedding from the Vatican, but the pope demands 5,000 pieces of gold through this emissary. This demand is conveyed to Wolsey, who in turn asks for 10,000 pieces of Gold from Cromwell (hoping to make 5,000 pieces of gold for himself through the transaction). In turn Cromwell asks for 20,000 gold pieces from the King to secure the divorce. Henry doesn't have that kind of money, so Cromwell advises him to add a sex enjoyment tax to gather revenues.3 months go by & Marie grows frustrated. She tries to convince Cromwell to have sex with her & promises him the throne the England if he was to help her get rid of Henry by means of an accident. But she faints & it turns out she is preggers due to her dalliances with Lodgerley.
Henry seizes on Marie's infidelity with De Lodgerley to be free of her; all he needs is a confession from De Lodgerley. He orders Cromwell to extract a confession using any means necessary.
Henry then is approached by the French ambassador who says that King Francis will present 50,000 gold coins to Henry upon the birth of the child.This leads to a running joke in the torture chamber as Henry keeps changing his mind about the confession due to political necessities, requiring multiple changes and retractions of the original confession.
Henry makes Bettina the Lady in waiting & transfers her to the palace to have sex with her. But Bettina spends all of her time with the pregnant Marie & Henry still doesn't get any. Henry is torn between the lust Bettina and the 50,000 gold coins & hence keeps oscillating between a confession & a retraction from Lodgerley.Henry finally gives in to his lust, gets the confession & marries Bettina.
Meanwhile King Francis arrives with his army, & confronts Henry with the need to meet Marie, whom Henry had confined in the Tower of London. Henry sends Wosley to fetch Marie. In the meantime Francis walks up to the King's bedchamber & finds Bettina. Bettina tells Francis that Marie is in the tower of London.Then news reaches the palace that Marie was killed in an attack on the tower of London. But the truth emerges that it was Lord Hampton who had rescued the queen to expose Henry. The Henry buys Lord Hampton's silence in front of Francis by promising him a bounty of 10,000 gold crowns a year.
Marie plays along when Henry punishes Lord Cromwell for accusing Marie of infidelity, when he produces the signed confession from De Lodgerley. Cromwell is sent to the tower of London. The matter is finally settled when Marie offers Bettina in marriage to Francis, which he accepts.
Marie give birth to a boy who looks nothing like Henry. Henry pardons Cromwell and Wosley, when he sees the next maid of Marie, & summons the 2 for an instant divorce from Marie.

Francis Bigger (Frankie Howerd) is a charlatan faith healer, convinced that "mind over matter" is more effective than medical treatment. During a lecture, he stumbles offstage and is admitted to the local hospital. In hospital, he incessantly groans and whines about being "maltreated", demanding better treatment than the other, eccentric patients.
These include bedridden layabout Charlie Roper (Sid James) who shams illnesses to stay in hospital; Ken Biddle (Bernard Bresslaw) who makes frequent trips to the ladies' ward to flirt with his love interest, Mavis Winkle (Dilys Laye); and Mr Barron (Charles Hawtrey) who seems to be suffering sympathy pains while his wife awaits the birth of their baby.While being treated, Bigger meets two very different doctors. Clumsy yet charming Dr Kilmore (Jim Dale) is popular with the patients and loved from afar by the beautiful Nurse Clark (Anita Harris) while hospital registrar Dr Tinkle (Kenneth Williams) is universally detested, as is his battle-ax Matron (Hattie Jacques), who harbors an unrequited love for him.After Bigger's arrival, novice nurse Sandra May (Barbara Windsor), arrives at the hospital with her intention to declare her (questionable) love for Tinkle, and enters his room, violating hospital rules that female staff are not permitted in the male quarters. Matron and Kilmore burst in on her declarations of love, which are cruelly rebuffed by Tinkle. Matron throws Nurse May out, and she leaves while tearfully announcing she'd rather die than live without Tinkle. Dr Tinkle fears for his position after this incident and contrives with Matron to get rid of Kilmore and Sandra May, lest they reveal the truth.Shortly after, Sandra May climbs on to the roof of the nurses' home to sunbathe in her bikini top. Dr Kilmore and Nurse Clark assume she is going to throw herself off the roof in despair after Tinkle's rejection. Kilmore rushes to save her and climbs on to the roof. He realizes she is sunbathing and prepares to leave, but Sandra assumes to her horror he is leering over her, and shrieks in fear. Her screams attract attention and soon the entire hospital staff and townspeople flock to watch. Nurse Clark attempts to help Kilmore before he falls off, but he accidentally tears her skirt off, leaving her in her underwear and stockings. Kilmore crashes through a window to safety, but lands in a bath ... with a nurse in it, who assumes he is attacking her. His good reputation is destroyed among everyone except his patients.Dr Kilmore is given a hearing with the hospital governor, but Matron and Tinkle deny his revelation of Sandra May's fight with Tinkle. As Sandra May has left the hospital, Kilmore has no proof to support him and is forced to resign. Nurse Clark reports the treachery of Tinkle and Matron to the patients and together they decide to exact revenge upon the pair for what they have done. The male patients take care of Tinkle while the females take care of Matron.
The ladies manage to get Matron to confess by torturing her with a blanket bath while the men get Tinkle to confess by threatening to perform an operation on him since their previous attempt to give him an icy cold bath failed.The next day, Dr Kilmore is appointed the new hospital registrar while Tinkle is reduced to a simple doctor. Mr Barron, now fully recovered and cured, and his wife finally have their baby and Bigger and his newly wedded wife Chloe (Sims) bicker as they leave the hospital. However, on their way out, Bigger deliberately falls on the steps and injures his back again to avoid any more difficulties with his wife and is brought back to the hospital.
