Synopsis

Highly respected, yet unconventional GP Dr. Julian Goldstein diagnoses ever-irreverent advertising executive Marley Corbett, who bags on love avoiding any commitment, with terminal cancer, impressed by the way she accepts the news with humor and dignity. Under anesthetic, God (well, her feminist ideal version Whoopi!) 'appears' granting Marley three wishes. She chooses the ability to fly, a million dollars (not tax free), and a secret one. Learning she abandoned oncologist Dr. Sanders's treatment to enjoy life while she still can, Julian breaks his ethical rule by dating this ex-patient, who drags him into wild nightlife, which turns into a tempestuous love relationship, doomed from the start as symptoms will soon increase, while they enjoy wishes coming true.—KGF Vissers
