Leilani Farha, Special Rapporteur on the Right to Housing for the United Nations, examines the affordability housing crisis, where the working class can no longer afford to live in many of the world's major cities, let alone the poor, access to housing which is legally supposed to be a basic human right. In traveling to many cities where this situation is especially problematic, Farha speaks to many native sons and daughters who feel like they are literally being pushed out of their hometown for no fault of their own. The core of the problem is the commodification of housing and real estate as opposed to it being that right, where many landowners don't care about it as housing per se, and thus don't treat it like the human need that it is. While some of the world's major real estate corporations, like Blackstone, are the biggest sources of the problem, other "investors", who are solely trying to make money without thinking too much about what is being invested in, are contributing to the problem. Such investors include pension funds, the individual pensioners who may not be aware that among the people negatively affected are other pensioners literally being pushed out of their homes.—Huggo

James Cameron and Simcha Jacobovici go on an adventure to find the lost city of Atlantis by using Georgeos Díaz-Montexano as story-advisor, Richard Freund and others investigators, and to Greek philosopher Plato as a virtual treasure map.With the objective of evaluating the hypotheses about the existence of Atlantis, the documentary investigates archaeological objects, satellite photographs and seabed related to them.James Cameron instructs a team of professors from several universities in the US, Canada, Israel and New Zealand to assess the most credible hypotheses. The chosen hypotheses were Santorini, Malta, Sardinia and southern Spain and Atlantic. With these data, James Cameron entrusts to Simcha Jacobovici the filming and the direction of the documentary.The investigation begins with the Santorini hypothesis of Charles Pellegrino and continues in Malta, to analyze the hypothesis of Peter Ellul Vincenti, and in Sardinia, to assess the proposal of Robert Ishoy, which end up being discarded.The second part of the documentary begins in the Columns of Hercules, the present Strait of Gibraltar, which is the scenario where the hypothesis developed by the Spanish writer and Story-Avisor of the documentary, Georgeos Díaz-Montexano, and Dr. Richard A Freund. This theory is supported by J. Cameron and Simcha Jacobovici, as the most plausible of all.Finally, the documentary explores the Terceira and Pico islands of the archipelago of the Azores, and concludes considering as more plausible the hypothesis proposed by southwestern Iberia as a central point from which the Atlantic maritime civilization of the Chalcolithic and the Bronze, civilization that generated the legend, to other places of the Atlantic and the Mediterranean.

Tessa Hurst, a young teen aged girl who attends an English girls school, is raped in the woods in the vicinity of the school. The attack leaves her in a catatonic state after her traumatic experience. One month later, Susan Miller, another girl from the same school is attacked and is killed in the process. Julie West, the school's art teacher, witnesses the killer as he is leaving and in her hysterical state, mistakes him for the devil. She then decides to use herself as bait to catch the rapist. She is aided in her plan by Dr. Greg Lomax, who also happens to be treating Tessa. During the investigation, the police come up with a list of several suspects from the voyeuristic husband of the school's headmistress to Dr. Lomax. They eventually come up with a plan to try and catch the killer by administering truth serum to Tessa to bring her out of her state. Just as Tessa is about to be injected, Julie realizes that the killer is a colleague of Greg's and struggles with him. During the struggle, Tessa wanders out of the doctor's office and returns to the place where she was raped. In 1989, Natrajan, his wife, and his mother-in-law visit the Lord Bairava temple to request the lord for a child, since Natarajan and his wife have no children. Just then, a saint visits the temple in shelter from the storm. Natrajan and his family give him some prashadam (food offered to god) to eat. After hearing their story of having no child, he gifts them a dog, saying that it is not an ordinary dog; it has powers that will solve their problems and give them wealth. The sayings of the saint became true: Natrajan's wife falls pregnant and gives birth to a male child, and Natrajan's family becomes rich through his lorry business. They name the dog Bhairavar.In the present day, Naai Sekar is a petty criminal who collects ransom money by kidnapping the dogs of the rich. While attempting to kidnap a rich man's dog, he accidentally kidnaps local rowdy Dass's dog. However, he manages to collect a ransom from Dass, but when Dass's henchmen find Sekar and his gang, they beat them. Sekar's gang struggles to escape from Dass; in the fight, Dass gets shot in the groin by Sekar. In fear of getting killed by Dass or his henchmen, they are planning to go to Kerala. Sekar's grandmother scolds them and tells him about his family's history.Soon after Sekar's birth, his family hired a servant named Meganathan alias Max to take care of Bhairavar. Max kidnaps the dog after learning about its good fortune from a drunk Natarajan. After losing the dog, their family's state became bad: Sekar's mother dies and Natarajan never came back from searching for his dog. So Sekar goes to Lala Palace in Hyderabad to get the dog from Max. Sekar discovers that Max is looking for a blind man to marry his sister Bobby. So he pretends to be blind to enter the palace and kidnap the dog. Eventually, he witnesses Max murdering his girlfriend Gora. He eventually passes Max's tests and earns his approval. He sets the wedding on Friday and requests him to invite all his friends and relations. He invites his two friends.Dass gets discharged from the hospital and finds out that Sekar is in Hyderabad from Surangani. Later, Sekar kidnaps his dog "Jackie" and is just about to escape when Max catches him. Sekar says that "Jackie" is his dog Bhairavar and he has come to take his dog. Max takes out his gun, but Bhairavar bites him on his hand, causing Sekar to take the gun and shoot Max in the same manner and spot he shot Dass. When the henchmen are about to attack Sekar, a police officer arrives at Lala Palace to arrest Sekar, but Sekar cleverly informs the police officer about Dass's and Max's crimes and has them arrested. Sekar then reunites with Bhairavar, and they both drive out of Lala Palace.
